I am opening a business here in LA that offers gardens to clients. I won't say anymore.
I am looking for an “organic/chemical free garden” designer who is well established with a successful business practice currently in existence, or has semi-recently sold such a business. Must have a book/website and provide a number of gardens still in healthy operation today for inspection.
Poverty conscious, off the grid need not apply. I want someone who is comfortable with money and has the ability to interact with the occasional pushy, stingy clients in the City of Los Angeles.
This individual is nurturing and has no temper problems, not an alcoholic, dresses professional, and keeps a clean vehicle both inside and out. The ability to do full color sketches is a must.
An understanding of diverse plant life that can be sustained in Los Angeles is paramount. The ability to work with and be completely open with other design team members is a must.
The position includes some ownership in the company.
